I don't like trying people in the press. So I'd never make a good Democratic politician. At what point does a cop's aggressive behavior, interacting with a detainee's medical conditions, constitute murder? I don't know. It's a value judgement, and I'm not an expert.
But the judge didn't move the trial to a different location, or sequester the jury for much of the trial.
Congress passed a law ahead of the infamous 1968 Democratic convention, making it a federal crime to cross state lines to incite violence. This is what the "Chicago Seven" were tried for. Californian Democrat Maxine Waters poked her smiling face into Minnesota, and spewed so much violent rhetoric, it would have had Trump shaking in his shoes.
Good work, Maxine! Now America will get to go through a second trial, after the first one gets thrown out.
